Event description
The Investment and Business Forum held under the Kyrgyz Republic’s chairmanship of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) is a flagship international platform for investment, trade and economic, and technological cooperation among SCO member states.
The forum is jointly organised by the National Agency for Investments under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic, and will take place on June 24–25, 2026, in Bishkek. It will bring together representatives of government bodies, international organisations, business, investment funds, financial institutions, technology companies, and the expert community.
Key discussion tracks include healthcare, the pharmaceutical industry and medical tourism; the digital economy, artificial intelligence and e-commerce; the green transformation, digital sovereignty and a new wave of industrialisation across the SCO; industrial cooperation and investment opportunities. The agenda also features the SCO Business Council Board meeting, an official document-signing ceremony and the SCO Industrial & Investment Cooperation Expo.
The forum is designed for signing investment agreements, B2B meetings, project presentations, and stronger regional cooperation.
Formats include plenary sessions, panel discussions, B2B, signing ceremonies, an investment exhibition, and a cultural programme.
