On September 4, 2026, a ceremonial gathering dedicated to the sacred and nationwide celebration — the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan — was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The event was opened with welcoming remarks by the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahmonalizoda Farhodshoh Rahmonali, who sincerely congratulated all employees of the Chamber and, through them, the entrepreneurs and representatives of the country’s private sector on this great historic occasion.

In his speech, the Chairman of the Chamber emphasized that gaining full state independence represents the greatest and highest achievement of the Tajik nation in its modern history. Thanks to the wise, far-sighted and comprehensive policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, the country has become a stable center of peace and stability, sustainable economic development, and an active “open doors” diplomacy.

During the ceremonial gathering, heads of the Chamber’s structural units delivered congratulatory speeches and shared their analytical views on the high values of sovereignty, the history of patriotism, the country’s significant economic achievements in the fields of industry and trade, as well as the key role of the Chamber in establishing effective dialogue between the state and the business community.

It was noted that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as a coordinating institution representing the private sector, has contributed throughout the years of independence to attracting foreign direct investment, promoting national goods and products, and diversifying exports of domestic products.

At the conclusion of the ceremonial gathering, a number of active employees of the Chamber’s structural units who had made a valuable contribution to the performance of their official duties were awarded Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation by the Chairman of the Chamber.
