From June 26 to 28, 2026, the historic part of Minsk (Upper Town) will host the IV International Festival "Flax Festival. Indigenous Fashion." The festival will feature presentations of light industry brands using historical and cultural heritage and modern technologies.
Flax Festival includes:
- a clothing design competition (three categories: "Author's Collection," "Fashionable Folk. Ethnic Collection," and "Industrial Collection");
- art and modeling competitions;
- events for the professional design community, seminars on training personnel for the light industry and the prospects for using historical and cultural potential to create competitive products;
- fashion shows featuring new season collections from young designers and leading industry companies;
- a culinary master class "Flax: Ugly, Aprane i Nakormits" with tasting;
- Interactive areas, exhibitions and sales of domestic goods, cultural, educational, and sports and entertainment programs.
