On 9 February 2026, a meeting was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Chamber’s leadership and a delegation from the Republic of Kenya.

The Kenyan delegation included representatives from the private sector and government institutions. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Ministry of Energy and Water Resources, the Executive Body of State Authority of the city of Dushanbe, the State Committee on Investments and State Property Management, as well as the Head of Pamirenergoservice Company.

The Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Rajabzoda H.U., briefed the guests on the Chamber’s activities and highlighted the country’s priority development areas, including the green economy. Detailed information on the investment climate and incentives available to investors was also presented.

Information was provided on the activities of the Green Business Development Committee under the Chamber, at whose initiative this meeting was organized.

In turn, the representatives of the Kenyan delegation presented information about their country and the activities of the private sector and expressed interest in developing business relations with Tajik entrepreneurs.

During the meeting, agreements were reached on establishing cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Tajikistan and Kenya.
