On 13 February 2026, within the framework of the first meeting of the Intergovernmental Council of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Kyrgyz Republic, held in Bishkek, Kyrgyz Republic, with the participation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Kohir Rasulzoda and the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Adylbek Kasymaliev, a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation was signed between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Center for Development and Promotion of Export “Kyrgyz Export” under the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The document was signed by Rahmonalizoda Farhodshoh Rahmonali Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan and Mr. Takirov Urmat Kanatbekovich Director of the Center for Development and Promotion of Export “Kyrgyz Export”.

The signing of the Memorandum took place in line with the wise policy of the two Heads of State – the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, H.E. Emomali Rahmon, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, H.E. Sadyr Japarov. This step will strengthen trade and export cooperation between the two countries and create a new foundation for further economic partnership.
