On February 17, 2026, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan Rahmonalizoda Farhodshoh Rahmonali, held a meeting with Mr. Mahmoud Najafi Arabia Chairman of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, along with a delegation of representatives of companies and enterprises from the Islamic Republic of Iran.

From the Tajik side, the meeting was also attended by a representative of the Ministry of Health and Social Protection as well as representatives of companies and enterprises from the construction and pharmaceutical sectors.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to expanding bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, trade and investment. They also exchanged views on organizing business missions from both countries, active participation in international exhibitions and strengthening direct ties between business communities.

It was noted that in 2025, the trade turnover between the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran amounted to 483.9 million US dollars. The parties expressed confidence that through joint efforts of the chambers of commerce and the business communities of the two countries, economic cooperation would be elevated to an even higher level.

The guests were also provided with detailed information on the investment climate and available opportunities in the Republic of Tajikistan. Iranian entrepreneurs were invited to participate in international exhibitions and forums scheduled.
