As part of his visit to Sughd Region, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Rahmonalizoda Farkhodshoh held a working meeting with entrepreneur members of the Chamber in Sughd Region on February 23, 2026.

Before his speech, Rahmonalizoda Farkhodshoh congratulated those present on the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting, Rahmonalizoda F.R. reiterated the support of the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, and the Government of the country in the field of entrepreneurship, noting that today, thanks to this support, the private sector accounts for 80 percent of production and 70 percent of employment in the country.

It was also noted that over the past year, 396 new industrial enterprises and workshops were commissioned in the country, creating 2,422 new jobs. As a result, industrial production reached 66.7 billion somoni, with a real growth rate of 22.1%.

It was also noted that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as the largest organization uniting the private sector in the Republic of Tajikistan, constantly strives to develop the country's private sector in cooperation with other relevant ministries and agencies, its partners, and development partners, and to conduct various events such as business forums, business missions, exhibitions, fairs, seminars, and trainings at the national and international levels.

Furthermore, at the end of the meeting, Rahmonalizoda F.R. expressed gratitude to the entrepreneurs for their fruitful cooperation and expressed the readiness of the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan to consider proposals from Chamber members for the further development of the sector and to support their interests both domestically and internationally.
