On 25 June 2026, the official opening ceremony of the 9th China-Eurasia Expo was held in Urumqi, the capital of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.
The Expo is one of the largest international exhibition and business events in the region, aimed at promoting trade, economic, and investment cooperation among Eurasian countries. It brings together representatives of government agencies, business communities, industry associations, and international organizations.
Representatives from 27 countries are participating in the Expo. More than 80 business events are scheduled within its framework, including investment forums, project presentations, trade negotiations, and industry conferences.
The Expo provides an important platform for strengthening economic ties between the People's Republic of China, the countries of Central Asia, and other Eurasian states.
It is worth noting that the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan has organized the participation of representatives from 47 domestic companies. These companies represent the housing construction and building materials industry, textile manufacturing, cultural tourism and hospitality, veterinary services, agriculture, and other sectors of the economy.
As part of the Tajik delegation's participation in the China–Eurasia Expo, the program includes establishing direct contacts with manufacturers and suppliers, visiting enterprises, conducting negotiations on the direct procurement of equipment and raw materials, developing long-term supply channels, and participating in the Expo's thematic events.
The China-Eurasia Expo covers an exhibition area of approximately 140,000 square meters and features six major thematic sections: investment cooperation, new productive forces, competitive industries, green economy development, culture and tourism, and cooperation under the Silk Road initiative.
It should also be noted that the national pavilion of the Republic of Tajikistan is represented by Abrikos i Kompaniya OJSC.
